Newly elected President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel and President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova intend to visit Ukraine. About this on Saturday, February 28, writes pravda.sk.
The report says that Pavel will call Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on January 29 with a proposal to pay a joint visit with Chaputova.
The head of Slovakia also positively considers this possibility.
The exact date of the visit has not yet been announced.
It is known that Petr Pavel said that the Czech Republic would remain pro-Western, would maintain its strategic relations with the EU and NATO, and would remain on the side of Ukraine. He also emphasized that the war in Ukraine is a war that also concerns the Czech Republic, since it is a war for the future of international relations, for the future of a secure Europe.
Recall, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the new President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, on his convincing victory in the elections and expressed hope for continued cooperation.
