Brazilian President Lula da Silva told Macron about “the need for negotiations with Russia in order to conclude a truce.”
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva refused French President Emmanuel Macron to send military aid to Ukraine and stressed his readiness to “be actively involved in the search for a peaceful solution.” This was announced by the Geneva correspondent of the portal UOL Jamil Shad.
It is reported that Lula da Silva told Macron about the “need for negotiations with Russia in order to conclude a truce.”
Despite the fact that Brasilia still condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it is not ready to “assist in military operations”, placing a certain share of responsibility for the situation on NATO, which “in recent years has not contributed to the establishment of trusting relations with the Kremlin.”
Earlier it was reported that Zelensky wrote a letter to Macron.
