The strike on a convoy of Iranian trucks on Sunday evening, January 29, was carried out from aircraft in the skies of Syria, Al-Hadath reports.
It is noted that the attack occurred when the trucks were crossing the border from Iraq to Syria at the Bu-Kemal border crossing.
The Syrian Center for Human Rights reported that the truck convoy consisted of 25 vehicles. They were bringing weapons to Syria for Tehran-backed groups.
According to the Center, the column was destroyed. It is alleged that there are victims, however, their number is not specified.
Recall that in Iran on the evening of Sunday, January 29, explosions thundered at the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and attacks were also carried out on a convoy of Iranian trucks.
And on the night of January 28-29, a series of explosions thundered in Iran at strategic facilities – at military warehouses, an ammunition production center, an air base, and oil refineries.
