As a result of the Russian shelling of the port in Kherson, oil products leaked into the Dnieper. This is stated in the message in the official Telegram channel of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
It is reported that the attack occurred recently. It is known that two ships belonging to foreign companies were damaged. The crew managed to localize the leakage of oil products.
“A Russian shell pierced the hull and fuel storage on one of the ships. Because of this, oil products leaked into the Dnieper,” the report says.
The report does not indicate which ships are in question, however, on January 25 it was reported that the Turkish ship Tuzla caught fire after a Russian missile attack. Another Turkish ship was damaged.
