In the Russian city of St. Petersburg, in one of the world’s largest art and cultural-historical museums – the Hermitage – hackers displayed messages about Russian war crimes in Bucha, Kyiv region, on information boards. This is reported by the St. Petersburg website Fontanka.
“On January 29, 2023, an illegal interference in the museum’s system was discovered in the State Hermitage, as a result of which a failure occurred in the operation of information boards,” the administration of the institution admitted.
The news about the hacker attack on the site is headlined with the words “The museum and guests are not disturbed. The Hermitage told how they fought against the sudden Bucha on the scoreboard.”
