Armed Forces of Ukraine undergo mine safety exercises in Britain
The exercises are conducted under the guidance of military instructors from Canada as part of Operation UNIFIER – UK.
The Ukrainian military in the UK, under the guidance of Canadian instructors, are working on mine safety issues. The photo was published by the Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
It is noted that the classes are held as part of basic combined arms training under the guidance of instructors from the 1st Engineer Regiment of the 1st Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group of the 3rd Canadian Division of the Canadian Land Forces as part of Operation UNIFIER – UK.
According to Pavlyuk, “engineering training is important both from the point of view of theory and in relation to practical development of identifying special features of places where explosive objects are installed and the rules for using an engineering probe and methods for detecting wire ropes and identifying booby traps.”
Recall that in the British Defense Ministry showed the teachings of the Ukrainian military.
It was also reported that Ukrainian tank crews arrived for exercises in Britain.
