Zelensky and Van der Bellen held talks at the Mariinsky Palace
The leaders of Ukraine and Austria discussed issues of energy, economy and humanitarian cooperation.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. The Ukrainian leader announced this on Facebook on Wednesday, February 1.
“I welcome Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen to Kiev! Today we are discussing in detail the issues of energy, the economy, our humanitarian cooperation, the development of Ukrainian communities – everything that helps to maintain and restore normal life during the war,” Zelensky wrote.
The heads of state held talks at the Mariinsky Palace.
On Wednesday morning, it became known that the President of Austria arrived in Kyiv on an official visit. Van der Bellen noted that Austria was militarily neutral, but by no means neutral in its position.
