Former federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ) was arrested this Thursday morning (2), in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, due to non-compliance with precautionary measures defined by the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
In December of last year, STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes imposed another fine on Bolsonarist Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ) of R$2.6 million, totaling R$4.3 million in fines.

According to the minister, Silveira continued to disobey court orders even after the first fines, such as not using an electronic anklet and granting interviews without court authorization. In total, the parliamentarian disrespected the precautionary measures 175 times.
“The conduct of the defendant, who insists on disrespecting the precautionary measures imposed in these records and endorsed by the Plenary of the Federal Supreme Court, reveal his complete contempt for the Judiciary, behavior verified on several occasions”, wrote Alexandre de Moraes in the document that determined the traffic ticket.

Silveira was sentenced by the STF to eight years and nine months in prison for attacks and threats against the STF and its ministers. The Court also ordered the annulment of his mandate. The deputy, however, was saved by a pardon granted by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). In practice, the decision meant pardoning the penalty imposed on the parliamentarian by the STF.
This Wednesday (1st), he lost the mandate of federal deputy and, with that, also the privileged forum. He received 1.5 million votes in October last year for the seat of senator in Rio de Janeiro, but he was not elected.
