The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been resisting the invaders for 344 days
During the past 24 hours, the enemy continued to attempt to advance in four directions, despite heavy losses.
The troops of the Russian Federation are actively conducting reconnaissance and are preparing for an offensive in certain areas. This was announced on February 2 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report.
It is noted that despite heavy losses, the enemy continues to attempt offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of invaders in the areas of 14 settlements: Novoselovskoe, Ploshchanka, Nevskoe, Chervonopopovka, Dibrova, Kuzmino, Belogorovka, Lugansk region and Controversial, Belogorovka, Vasyukovka, Blagodatnoe, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut and Kleschievka, Donetsk region.
No enemy offensive groupings were found in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions. Settlements of the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions fell under shelling.
In the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Novopavlovsky, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy shelled peaceful cities and villages from various types of weapons.
During the day on February 1, the enemy launched six missile strikes, four of which hit the civilian infrastructure of Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region, as well as four air strikes. In addition, he made 73 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
“The threat of Russian air and missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine,” the General Staff stressed.
Over the past day, missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a command post, three enemy manpower concentration areas, and a fuel and lubricants depot.
Recall, as of February 1, the Russian Federation lost 128,420 soldiers in Ukraine, as well as 3,209 tanks, 293 aircraft and 284 helicopters.
