Yermak and Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with Sullivan and Millie
The US representatives were informed by the Ukrainian side about the situation in the Donetsk and South directions.
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan and Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley. This was reported on February 2 on the President’s website.
It is noted that US representatives were informed about the situation in the Donetsk and South directions.
The parties discussed possible actions of the Russian army in the near future.
The head of the Presidential Office thanked the American side for the strong support of Ukraine and the strengthening of the country’s defense capabilities.
Recall, according to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Federation is trying to expand the offensive in the Liman direction.
As previously reported in the GUR, Ukraine is on the eve of a very active phase of the war. Very active operations at the front are expected in February and March.
