Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during talks with French President Emmanuel Macron said that Israel is ready to transfer “military assets” to Ukraine. This is reported by The Times of Israel, citing a source.
At the same time, Netanyahu assured of Israel’s intention “not to go too far” so as not to provoke Russia.
“I explained our policy to him (regarding military assistance to Ukraine – ed.). He knows this issue well,” Netanyahu said at a briefing after talking with Macron.
As the newspaper writes, during the talks, politicians discussed the possible mediation of Israel in the negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Recall, Netanyahu said he was ready to become an intermediary in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, if he was offered again.
Earlier, the Prime Minister reported that Israel is considering the issue of providing Ukraine with “other types of assistance”, including military.
