U.S. military aid package released

The US Department of Defense announced today that it is providing a new $2.2 billion aid package to Ukraine.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak published a list of US military aid for $2.2 billion.

According to Yermak, Ukraine will receive:

ammunition for HIMARS;

artillery shells of 155 mm caliber;

mortar shells of 120 mm caliber;

190 heavy machine guns with thermal imaging sights and ammunition;

181 vehicles with mine and ambush protection MRAP;

250 Javelin;

2 thousand anti-tank missiles;

Claymore anti-personnel ammunition;

explosive ammunition;

cold weather gear, helmets and other field equipment.

“Let’s defeat the swamp together,” the head of the OPU summed up the list.

Earlier it was reported that the United States will transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine.
