The founder of GRM died in Ukraine
Former US Marine Pete Reed was 33 years old. A State Department spokesman confirmed the death of a US citizen in Ukraine.
In Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, a volunteer from the United States, Pete Reed, was recently killed while providing assistance to the civilian population. This is reported by CNN, as well as the humanitarian aid group Global Response Medicine (GRM).
“GRM founder Pete Reed died in Bakhmut, Ukraine. Pete was the backbone of GRM, serving as chairman of the board for four years. In January, Pete stepped away from GRM to work with Global Outreach Doctors on their mission in Ukraine and was killed during assistance,” GRM said in a statement.

Former US Marine Pete Reed was 33 years old. He began his humanitarian career after Hurricane Sandy hit his home state of New Jersey. Reed also led medical teams during the Battle of Mosul in Iraq, treating more than 10,000 injured. On the Global Outreach Doctors website, Reed is also listed as a director in Ukraine.
Recall that a citizen of Canada died in the battles near Bakhmut.
It was also reported that a volunteer from Australia died in the war in Ukraine.
