The invaders tried to attack in the Seversk direction, but the Ukrainian border guards repulsed the enemy. The enemy retreated with losses. This was announced on Saturday, February 4, by the State Border Service.
It is noted that yesterday, Russian troops from artillery and mortars fired at strongholds of border guards in the Seversk direction.
“After dusk, enemy reconnaissance tried to quietly overcome the Ukrainian defense line. The occupiers were discovered. A battle ensued, after which the reconnaissance officers retreated,” the report says.
As stated in the State Border Guard Service, at night the enemy again tried to conduct reconnaissance in battle towards the positions of Ukrainian fighters, but retreated.
Recall that over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Grekovka, Nevskoye, Kremennaya and Dibrova of the Luhansk region and Verkhnekamennoye, Krasnaya Gora, Paraskoveevka, Bakhmut and Ivanovskoye of the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian aviation inflicted eight strikes on the invaders.
