More than a thousand civilians were killed by the invaders in the Kyiv region
Law enforcement officers handed over 50 suspicions to the military of the Russian Federation for committing atrocities in the Kyiv region.
More than a thousand civilians have been killed by Russian invaders in the Kyiv region since last February. Some of the bodies found have not yet been identified. On Friday, February 3, said the head of the National Police of the Kyiv region Andriy Nebitov in Telegram.
“In the Kyiv region, 1369 bodies of civilians killed by the invaders have already been found, 197 bodies of citizens remain unidentified. Three hundred people are considered missing,” Nebitov said.
According to him, law enforcement officers of the Kyiv region opened more than 10 thousand criminal proceedings on the fact of crimes committed by the Russian military in the region. Most of the proceedings have already been submitted for consideration to the investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine.
“However, the National Police continues to help with the initial fixation, inspection and appointment of relevant examinations. It is also worth noting that law enforcement officers have handed over more than 50 suspicions to the Russian military for committing atrocities in the region,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that an international center to investigate Russian crimes in Ukraine will be created in The Hague (Netherlands).
