Zelensky revoked citizenship of several Ukrainians
Five former officials from the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych and several others have been deprived of Ukrainian citizenship.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stripped five former officials from the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych from Ukrainian citizenship. It is reported by UNIAN with reference to informed sources in law enforcement agencies.
It is reported that, in particular, the president deprived the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko, the former Minister of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko, the former head of the administration of President Viktor Yanukovych Andriy Klyuyev, the former Minister of Education Dmitry Tabachnik and the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine from Ukrainian citizenship. In addition, the list for deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship includes a deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council Nikita Shentsev and a deputy of the Odessa City Council Viktor Baransky.
Citizenship will also be deprived of Alexander Gorbylev, Bogdan Klyuev and Vitaly Slaba.
