Employees of a cafe in Donetsk sang the anthem of Ukraine – they were fired
According to the administrator of the institution, “law enforcement agencies” have been informed and are already working with the girls.
In temporarily occupied Donetsk, employees in a cafe Basil, at work they sang the anthem of Ukraine. After the video went viral, the girls were forced to apologize on camera. This was reported on Sunday, February 5, by local telegram channels.
“We wanted to apologize for the video we made at work together. We didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. This video does not have any political nature. We were born and live in Donetsk all the time, and we love this city very much. We sincerely apologize” – said the girls on camera.
The administrator of the cafe assured that the employees of the cafe were fired, and also that the management of the institution “does not share their point of view.”
“We apologize for the video that was filmed by trainee waitresses at work. They no longer work with us because we do not share their point of view and do not encourage such behavior. Parents and law enforcement officers have already been informed about this,” the Basilica administrator said.
Earlier, three residents of the village of Zolote Pole in the occupied Crimea were arrested for listening to Ukrainian music in public.
Recall that the Russian comedian Semyon Slepakov, on behalf of Russia, sang a satirical lullaby dedicated to the dead occupiers.
