The ambitions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are not limited to the conquest of Ukraine, according to London.
The only effective way to establish peace on the territory of Ukraine is its victory. Therefore, the world must provide the Ukrainians with the tools they need to “finish the job.” This was stated on Sunday, February 5 in an article in the Times of Malta, citing the words of British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley.
Speaking about the war in Ukraine, the diplomat stressed that Putin only reacts to the strength of his opponents.
“In December 2022, he rejected the 10-point peace plan of Volodymyr Zelensky. Therefore, friends of Great Britain and Ukraine are doing everything possible for Ukraine to win on the battlefield. And therefore, I am glad that Germany and the United States joined the UK and sent tanks to the Ukrainians. for Ukrainians, the tools they need to complete the job are the fastest and even the only way to peace,” Cleverly writes.
The minister noted that the ambitions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are not limited to the conquest of Ukraine.
“He wants to turn world politics upside down and destroy the international order. And if he succeeds, he will pull us all back into an era of violence and conquest,” he said.
