At a meeting of the State Commission for Fuel and Energy and Emergency Situations, the Prime Minister gave a number of instructions to accelerate the restoration of critical infrastructure in the Kherson region.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told what steps have already been taken to provide the residents of the liberated Kherson region with everything they need.
“After the liberation of Kherson, the president clearly defined the urgent tasks: the restoration of all life support systems, humanitarian demining, assistance to people who were in the occupation who returned home, the safety of the population. According to the OVA, about 170 thousand consumers (about 71%) of the Kherson region are provided with electricity. work of 30 repair teams. At the same time, the restoration of power supply requires additional demining,” said Denys Shmygal.
He also noted that he gave the task to the Ministry of Infrastructure to coordinate work on providing the Kherson region with additional units of municipal equipment from the regions to carry out the necessary work.
“In addition, an additional batch of Starlink systems will arrive in Ukraine, some of which will be sent to the Kherson region. I gave the task to urgently ensure the opening and filling of Indestructibility Points in 133 settlements where there is no electricity supply, so that people can get access to everything they need,” the prime minister summed up.
Earlier, Denys Shmyhal said that additional generators were sent to the Odessa region. The Ministry of Energy last night managed to increase the duration of the supply of light to people, however, due to the start of the working week, consumption increased.
Recall that in the temporarily occupied Gola Pristan, Kherson region, the Russians fired at a civilian car in which there were two adults and a child.
