Kyiv is ready to provide the necessary assistance to Ankara to overcome the consequences of the earthquake.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of the country in connection with the devastating earthquake that claimed dozens of lives.
“I express my condolences to President Erdogan, the people of Turkey and the families of those who died due to the earthquake in the southeast of the country. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims. In this difficult time, we will be close to the Turkish people. We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to overcome the consequences of the disaster,” wrote the head of state on Twitter.

Recall, on Monday morning, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in the southeast of Turkey, which led to destruction in a number of cities, as well as in neighboring Syria.
According to the latest data, 76 people were killed and 440 injured in Turkey. In Syria, 119 people became victims of the elements, more than 330 were injured.
