Pistorius gave Reznikov a Leopard 2 tank model
Boris Pistorius visited the capital of Ukraine for the first time after he headed the German defense department.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived on his first visit to Kyiv. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov in Twitter on Tuesday, February 7th.
“The ‘first’ Leopard 2 has arrived in Kyiv. There will be more of them. Thanks to my colleague Boris Pistorius and the German people. The tank coalition is on the way to victory!” Reznikov wrote.
He released a joint photo with Pistrorius and a model of the Leopard 2 tank.
Recall that on January 25, Germany officially announced the supply of Leopard 2 tanks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and allowed their re-export to other countries.
In addition, today the media reported that Germany must issue permission to two concerns for the supply of 187 Leopard 1 tanks for the needs of the Ukrainian army.
