Tactical airbase Ogab-44
The tactical air base Ogab-44 will be able to receive and operationally use the new Air Force fighters, according to Iran.
Iran has created underground air bases that supposedly can receive all types of aircraft and drones. This was reported by the IRNA agency on Tuesday, February 7.
So, today the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Mohammad Bagheri and the Commander-in-Chief of the Army Abdulrahim Mousavi visited the first underground air base of the Air Force called Ogab-44.
The Ogab-44 tactical air base is said to be capable of receiving all types of fighters and bombers, as well as army air force unmanned aerial vehicles. It will also be able to receive and operationally use new Air Force fighters.
Ogab-44 is considered one of the tactical underground air bases of the Army Air Forces, which were built in different regions of the country in recent years in accordance with the operational needs of these forces and taking into account the principles of passive defense.
Recall that last week Iran accused Israel of attacking a military plant in the city of Isfahan, where a strong explosion recently took place.
