Britain will co-host the conference
London and Kyiv will jointly host a Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine. It is scheduled for June 2023.
Great Britain will act as organizers of the Conference on the restoration of Ukraine. This follows from the British-Ukrainian declaration, which the government of the country published on Wednesday, February 8.
The document notes that the conference is scheduled for June this year.
“We will co-organize the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine in London on June 21-22. The UK will continue to provide Ukraine with access to British private financing, insurance, technical expertise,” the document, approved following talks between British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Volodymyr Zelensky, says.
In addition, the British side recalled that over the past 12 months, “military, humanitarian and economic assistance to Ukraine from the UK amounted to about 4 billion pounds.”
Recall that on Wednesday, February 8, Zelensky paid a visit to the UK, where he met with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as with King Charles III.
