Power engineers eliminate the consequences of accidents on power grids
The available volume of electricity produced is still not enough to cover the consumption in full.
In Ukraine, electricity consumption remains significant due to lower temperatures. The power deficit remains, but electricity will not be turned off in three regions on Thursday, Ukrenergo reported on February 9.
Consumption limits were not adjusted for Kharkiv, Kherson and Khmelnytsky regions, where measurements of actual consumption are planned today. Consumption restrictions in these areas will not apply. The rest of the oblenergos have been brought consumption limits valid during the day, the report says.
It is indicated that restoration work is currently underway at thermal power plants damaged during rocket attacks and drone attacks. Electricity is being imported. The available volume of electricity produced is still not enough to cover the consumption in full.
Round-the-clock repair work is also underway in the Odessa region.
Recall that in the Odessa region during the night there were more than a hundred accidents on the power grid. Now trolleybuses and trams do not run in Odessa. However, in general, the situation with light in the region has improved slightly.
