To counter Shaheda, mobile fire groups have been created in the subdivisions of the grouping of forces and means of defense in Kyiv. This was announced by the Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
“Trained crews in off-road cars are armed with heavy machine guns and equipped with thermal imaging sights, as well as other target detection and laser target designation devices. Firing positions for mobile groups are determined so that the crew arrives at the scene as soon as possible. more than one minute,” Pavliuk said.
The general notes that the number of mobile groups in the group is constantly increasing, work is underway to improve their technical equipment.
“A mobile fire group can destroy cruise missiles and other air targets,” Alexander Pavlyuk added.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a mobile air defense group in the Northern Operational Zone.
