The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that Ukrainian forces attacked the territory of the Starodubsky municipal district using drones on the night of February 9. He announced this on his telegram channel.
According to him, nine drones were first shot down by the air defense system, then another one.
“As a result of a repulsed attack in the Bryansk region, fragments of a UAV fell on a house under construction. Operational services have taken all the necessary measures to eliminate the consequences. A special commission will assess the damage, and the damage will be compensated to the owner of the home,” he said.
In early January, a drone attacked the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region. As a result of the blow, as the head of the Bogomaz region specified, the power supply facility was damaged, the residents of the village were left without electricity.
On February 7, the Astra telegram channel reported on a drone attack in the Bryansk region. The explosion allegedly injured a conscript soldier and his commander. There was no official confirmation of this information.
In early December, drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense – Ukrainian, attacked military airfields in the deep Russian rear: in the Ryazan and Saratov regions. Three Russian servicemen were killed and four wounded. Damage was received by two Tu-95 bomber-missile carriers, a fuel truck burned down.
