Principal of a private kindergarten exposed

The Kyiv police exposed the 29-year-old director of a private kindergarten, who embezzled the money of the parents of the pupils. It is reported by Vecherniy Kyiv.
It is reported that from December 2021 until the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the director of a private kindergarten in the Shevchenkovsky district provided instructions for the unjustified transfer of funds. The money was transferred to accounts under her control, ostensibly for payment for certain services that were not actually provided.
During the year, the director withdrew more than two million hryvnias, which were intended to finance the needs of preschoolers: food, improving the conditions of the educational process, etc.
The woman was declared suspected of misappropriating someone else’s property by abusing her official position. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided.
The suspect faces up to eight years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for up to three years.
Earlier it was reported that Sumy officials are suspected of embezzlement of funds for the restoration of the region, but the court released the deputy head of the Sumy OVA on a personal commitment.
