Since the night of February 10, Russia has launched a series of attacks on Ukraine. At the same time, at least two missiles passed through the airspace of Moldova and Romania. In turn, Chisinau confirmed this information, while Budapest denied it. The Kyiv OVA reported that 10 missiles were shot down in the sky over Kyiv. A number of regions also suffered from Russian shelling: Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Kharkiv and the region, Kherson, Ivano-Frankivsk region and Zaporozhye. In Khmelnitsky, after the strike, 50% of consumers were left without power supply.
Zelensky discussed Russia’s ban on the 2024 Olympics
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky took part in a summit with the participation of sports ministers of partner countries, which discussed the demand to ban athletes from Russia and Belarus from competing at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Zelensky noted that while Russia kills and terrorizes, representatives of the aggressor state have no place at the Olympic Games and other sports competitions. The issue of removing the Russian Federation and Belarus from the 2024 Olympics was discussed by 35 countries. At the same time, the Minister of Sports of Poland proposed a compromise on the participation of Russians and Belarusians in the Olympics.
Russia decided to “voluntarily” reduce oil production
Russia will voluntarily cut oil production by 500,000 barrels per day in March. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. According to him, the restriction of oil production, as a response to the price ceiling introduced by the West, will help “restore market relations.”
