
The IMF program provided for several conditions for Ukraine
The IMF may provide a multi-year assistance package to our country in March this year in the amount of $16 billion. What will be the conditions.
The mission of the International Monetary Fund began work within the framework of the first revision of the Monitoring Program for Ukraine. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine on Monday, February 13.
“The IMF mission led by Gavin Gray is starting discussions today with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities in order to prepare for the revision of the Monitoring Program with the participation of the Board of Directors,” said Vahram Stepanyan, the IMF’s permanent representative in Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that in March this year, the IMF may provide a multi-year package of assistance to Ukraine for $16 billion. At the same time, the fund put forward new conditions for Ukraine to provide loans.
At the end of January, the media reported that Ukraine had fulfilled almost all the requirements of the IMF program.
