The film received an award in the competition program Parallels and Meetings at the Palić European Film Festival in Serbia.
The trailer for the military drama Vision of a Butterfly directed by Maxim Nakonechny has been released. The video has been posted on YouTube.
The plot of the film will be told by an aerial reconnaissance woman with the call sign Butterfly, who manages to get out of Russian captivity. Her relatives, friends, brothers and loved ones are waiting for her. But new life brings new challenges.
The main role was played by actress Margarita Burkovskaya, known for the film Parthenon. Also in one of the key roles was the screenwriter of the film Cyborgs, playwright Natalya Vorozhbit.
The premiere of Vision of a Butterfly took place at the Cannes Odessa Film Festival. The film will be released in Ukrainian cinemas on April 6.
Earlier it was reported that the film directed by Philip Sotnichenko La Palisiada at the Rotterdam International Film Festival received the Fipresci Prize.
