In Lviv, an athlete and multiple champion of Ukraine Orysya Demyanuk bought an armored personnel carrier for the military. This is stated in the plot of TSN.
It is noted that the volunteer organized the action “I’m running after the armored personnel carrier”. The run took place offline and online, and each participant donated to buy military equipment. In a month, we managed to raise the required amount – more than a million hryvnias.
As they say in the story, the request for an armored personnel carrier came from Orysia’s relatives, who volunteered to fight.
The armored personnel carrier was found in Poland, but while the required amount was collected, it had already been bought, so the search continued.
Later, another armored personnel carrier was found on the sales site. Its former owner, a Pole, conducted excursions on it, took tourists. When I found out that Ukrainians were buying armored personnel carriers for the front, I even partially repaired it at my own expense.
“As an individual, I cannot buy an armored personnel carrier and make an acceptance certificate for the military, so I asked the scouts to help me with this. The armored personnel carrier has been demilitarized, we have documents, the Polish commission claimed this, we appealed to this document at the border,” Orysya said.
After the repair, the armored personnel carrier will go to the Luhansk region.
Recall that in Kherson, a pensioner on a wheelchair collected more than half a million hryvnias for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the media wrote that the volunteers handed over two minibuses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
