Erdogan noted that the search and rescue operation after the earthquakes in Turkey will continue until the last survivor is rescued.
“We will provide financial assistance in the amount of 100,000 liras to the relatives of those who died as a result of earthquakes for urgent needs,” the President of the country promised.
In addition, Erdogan said that the earthquakes that occurred on February 6 caused more than 3 thousand aftershocks, which increased the number of destruction and casualties.

It is noted that the earthquake on February 6 became the most destructive in the modern history of Turkey. The previous most devastating earthquake in Turkey occurred in 1939 near the city of Erzincan, then almost 33 thousand people became victims of the disaster.
The Turkish authorities plan to rebuild 30,000 houses in the earthquake-affected regions at the first stage. Restoration processes, as Erdogan noted, will begin in March.
Recall that on February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven points occurred in the southeast of Turkey, which affected neighboring Syria.
