Oleg Gazmanov and his son are supporters of the war in Ukraine and give concerts at which they urge Russians to go to the front.
Gazmanov said that he did not send his son to fight as a volunteer, because he “sings, did not serve and has no skills.” This was announced on Monday, February 13, by Gazmanov on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He added that his 41-year-old son had repeatedly visited the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk and plans to do so again.
To the remarks of the propagandist that those who are “big patriots on the screen” and the requirements are appropriate, he replied that he and his son were fighting with the help of songs – and that was enough.
“Are you hinting that he volunteered to leave? My eldest son and I do not get out of the hospitals, where we sing for our guys. It would be better if we went there,” said Gazmanov.
Recall that the Ukrainian host Anatoly Anatolich, after another massive missile attack by Russia on Ukraine, joked about the singers of the Russian Federation.
