This Thursday (16) is the deadline for registration in the Unified Selection System (Sisu), which offers vacancies in public institutions of higher education across the country to students who have taken the National High School Examination (Enem). The deadline for registration is February 24 (Friday).
All participants in Enem’s 2022 edition who did not declare themselves to be in the condition of “trainer” and obtained a score greater than zero in the exam’s writing test can apply. Participation in Sisu is free.
Applications are available exclusively online, on the website of the Single Access Portal for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education. Candidates can choose up to two course options among those offered by the universities participating in the unified selection.
To participate in the selection, you must have an account in the “gov.br” system. Those who have already registered must use the same information for access. If you have not done so, you will be redirected by the website to do so. When the registration is completed, the system itself recovers the grades obtained in the Enem.
There are some universities that offer score bonuses for candidates with certain profiles. The system itself takes care of automatically performing this calculation.
During the entire duration of the registration process, students can follow the dispute for vacancies on the website itself, and it is possible to change course options until registration is closed. Candidates are selected in order of ranking within each chosen course.
Candidates who are not selected can compete for a place in educational institutions through the Sisu waiting list. Deadlines for joining the list are yet to be announced.
Prouni and Fies in the coming weeks
In the coming weeks, the Single Access Portal for Higher Education will open two other selection processes: Prouni’s, which offers scholarships at private universities, starts on February 28th and runs until March 3rd. Fies, a student financing modality, will have registrations between March 7th and 10th.
