Western partners understand the importance of arms supplies to Ukraine and the fact that the Ukrainian military in the coming months can “put the squeeze” on Russia. This was stated by adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak on the air of the national telethon.
“Everyone understands that the war cannot be dragged out, it must not be allowed for it (Russia – ed.) to reduce the intensity of hostilities so that it lasts for another year or two or three. Our partners understand this, that it is possible to finally put the squeeze on the Russian Federation in the coming months and To do this, we need a certain tool and its transfer needs to be accelerated,” he said.
According to Podolyak, the arms transfer processes are going much faster. Most of the political decisions have already been made, and now the issue of logistics is more relevant.
Recall, as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, deliveries of heavy weapons to Ukraine from Western countries will increase in the near future.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the result of the next Ramstein was an increase in the supply of weapons and the country’s defense capability.
