Four Olympic Villages have been open for enrollment since last Tuesday (14th) for new students to practice sports activities. There are around four thousand free spaces available at the Gamboa units; Artur da Távola, in Vila Isabel; Jorginho da SOS, in Alemão, and Félix Miéli Venerando, in Honório Gurgel.

Among the modalities available are stretching, ballet, basketball, soccer, hydrogymnastics, judo, muay thai, swimming, pilates, skateboarding and volleyball. The equipment also has vacancies in activities for people with disabilities. Classes take place from Tuesday to Friday, with guidance from professionals.
Enrollments are carried out in person at the departments of the units, where it is possible to check all available activities. Applications continue until all spaces are filled.
The documents required for registration of persons over 18 years of age are: medical certificate and copies of identity, CPF and proof of residence. Those under 18 years of age must present copies of the identity card or birth certificate, the identity and CPF of the responsible person, proof of residence and school certificate. Everyone over the age of 12 must present a current vaccination against covid-19.
