Modular bridge in Chernihiv region
A 42-meter structure was installed in Old Belous. The bridge can support vehicles weighing up to 18 tons.
In the Chernihiv region, another modular bridge out of six, which were transferred to Ukraine by the French government, has been launched. This was announced by the head of the Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus on his Facebook page.
“Another bridge, provided by French partners, has been launched. A 42-meter structure was installed in Stary Belous,” the official wrote.
The bridge is all-metal. The road surface is made of wooden flooring. The design can withstand vehicles weighing up to 18 tons.
Chaus noted that the new design is a temporary measure during the construction of a new permanent bridge.
“In general, the French partners provided the Chernihiv region with six prefabricated structures, the installation of three is being carried out by the Department of Capital Construction of the OVA. The first one is already serving the residents of Novy Belous,” the head of the Chernihiv OVA summed up.
Earlier it was reported that the World Bank will allocate $50 million to repair roads and bridges in Ukraine.
