At the Chapaevsky Mechanical Plant in the Samara region of Russia, where explosives are produced, on Thursday, February 16, an explosion occurred. As a result, one person died, three more were injured, TASS reports.
“In one of the shops of the Chapaev Mechanical Plant, an explosive detonated, there was no fire. One person died, three were injured,” the emergency services said.
The Chapaev Mechanical Plant is engaged in the production of detonator caps, pyrotechnic relays, detonating cords, shaped charges, sealed explosive cartridges and cartridge emulsion explosives.
