Ukrainian team at Euro 2022 futsal
Ethical and disciplinary body of the Union of European Football Associations made a decision on the case of a year ago.
The UAF received a fine for the behavior of fans of the Ukrainian national team at the semi-final match of the Euro-2022 futsal against Russia.
Recall that this match took place a year ago and then, during its conduct, the entire hall chanted the chants “Putin – x###o” and “Beat the Muscovite” at the game.
According to the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti, the UEFA ethics and disciplinary body decided that these songs were performed only by fans of the Ukrainian national team, and not that this is the opinion of the whole world, and imposed a fine of 20,000 euros.
At the same time, UEFA or UAF have not yet confirmed this information on the official websites.
Recall that the fight took place on February 4, 2022. The Ukrainian team took 4th place in the tournament, Russia then became the second.
