A woman was detained for informing the enemy about the location of important objects
The woman collected information about the places of deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also transmitted the coordinates of schools and critical infrastructure to the Russian special services.
The SBU detained a woman who aimed Russian missiles at schools and electrical substations in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
“In previous months, the SBU detained four of its accomplices in attempts to transfer intelligence to the Russian occupiers about the deployment of the Defense Forces in the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk directions. Considering their cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced them to eight years in prison. Security Service officers detained a woman informer, who not only was hiding from justice, but also continued intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine,” the SBU reported.
The woman collected information about the places of deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dobropolye region of the Donetsk region, and also transmitted the coordinates of schools and critical infrastructure facilities, including power generating enterprises, to the Russian special services, and the Russian military used the information to prepare and conduct targeted missile strikes.
“According to the materials of the investigation, the attacker transmitted classified information to her friend through anonymous messengers. Then the intelligence was sent to the headquarters of the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Military District from Russia,” the report says.
The detained woman was notified of suspicion of disseminating information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations and was taken into custody.
Earlier it was reported that an employee of Ukroboronprom, who worked for the enemy, was detained.
