Rescuers of Odessa saved a puppy from death
The puppy fell into a very narrow hole, from which its owner could not get the animal on her own.
Odessa rescuers pulled a puppy out of the pit. The animal fell into a hole, the diameter of which was only ten centimeters. This was reported on Sunday, February 19, in the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region.
The incident took place in the Suvorovsky district of Odessa. Rescuers received a message that the puppy fell into a deep hole.
“The four-legged baby fell into a hole 3.5 meters deep and 10 centimeters in diameter. It was physically difficult to imagine how to save him, but our guys were not at a loss and called a private excavator,” the message says.
The excavator, who arrived at the call, dug a wide and deep trench next to the pit, into which the rescuers descended with the help of a ladder-stick and carefully dug a “tunnel” to the puppy with a shovel. The animal was saved and handed over to its owner.
Recall that in Kyiv, a fisherman died after falling through the ice on the Desenka River. And in the Chernivtsi region, rescuers took out the body of an 8-year-old boy from a pond.
