Vitaliy Deinega and Andriy Shevchenko received the positions of deputy ministers in the defense department.
The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed two new Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov. The government announced this on Telegram on Tuesday, February 21.
So, today at the meeting, an order was adopted on the appointment:
- Vitaly Deinega, Head of the Come Back Alive Charitable Foundation, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization;
- former people’s deputy and ex-ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko – Deputy Minister of Defense for European Integration.
Recall that on February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk as Reznikov’s first deputy.
As you know, in January there was a scandal with the purchase of products by the Ministry of Defense at an inflated price. As a result, the Rada started talking about the possible dismissal of Aleksey Reznikov, but this was never done.
