It is indicated that the helicopter lost control while landing in a sports complex in the city of Baft. There were 12 passengers in the cabin, among whom were local officials. During the crash, the car fell apart.
The minister is in stable condition. He and other passengers were hospitalized with injuries.
Later it became known that Ismail Ahmadi, the adviser to the minister and the head of the apparatus of the ministry, died from his injuries.

As a result of the plane crash, Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevgeny Yenin and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuri Lubkovich were killed.
A total of 14 people were killed, including everyone in the helicopter and five people on the ground, including one child. 25 people were injured, 11 of them children.
