President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez, who arrived in Kyiv on Thursday, February 23.

At a joint briefing, Zelensky said he had received assurances from Sanchez about the supply of Leopard tanks.
I received assurances that Spain would hand over Leopard tanks to Ukraine. The Ukrainian military is already learning how to operate these tanks in Spain,” he said and thanked Spain for significant defense support, including the supply of air defense systems.
Sanchez, in turn, confirmed that Spain would provide six Leopard A4 tanks.

Recall that on February 23, Pedro Sanchez visited Bucha and Irpin. There he stated that Russia would not win the war against Ukraine.
It should be noted that this is Sanchez’s second trip to Ukraine during the war. He came to Kyiv in April 2022.
