President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed compatriots on the anniversary of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine
It was a year of courage, a year of indifference, a year of pain, a year of hope, a year of endurance, a year of unity – a year of invincibility, the President of Ukraine emphasized.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky published a video message to the people on the anniversary of the Russian military invasion – on the morning of Friday, February 24.
In his address, the president spoke briefly about the first days and the year of full-scale war. About how some went to the evacuation, while others lined up at the military registration and enlistment offices, how the whole country turned into a volunteer hub, how children instead of smartphones asked St. Nicholas for victory over the enemy and took their savings to volunteers.
“We are strong. We are ready for anything. We will defeat everyone. Because we are Ukraine!” “I said these words a year ago, in the first address since the beginning of a full-scale war. We did not know what would happen tomorrow. But we understood for sure: we have to fight for every tomorrow! We have been standing for exactly one year. We still know: we have to fight for every tomorrow!” We withstand threats, shelling, cluster bombs, cruise missiles, kamikaze drones, blackout, cold. We are stronger than this,” Zelensky stressed.
As the president noted, it was a year of courage, a year of indifference, a year of pain, a year of hope, a year of endurance, a year of unity – a year of invincibility.
Recall that on the eve of the anniversary of the invasion of the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed about a hundred enemy attacks.
