Most pensioners have already received their pensions for February
Banks have already credited 100% of the financed amounts to the accounts of pensioners, and Ukrposhta delivered 89.7% of the financed amounts as of February 23.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine completed the financing of pensions for February 2022. UAH 51 billion was allocated for pension payments, which is UAH 600 million more than in January, the fund’s press service reported on Saturday morning, February 25.
It is indicated that 9.4 billion hryvnia was directed to the payment of pensions through Ukrposhta, 41.6 billion hryvnia – through authorized banks.
At the same time, banks have already credited 100% of the financed amounts to the accounts of pensioners, and Ukrposhta delivered 89.7% of the financed amounts as of February 23.
In addition, the Pension Fund directed:
- UAH 5.2 billion for the payment of housing subsidies and benefits;
- UAH 2.3 billion for insurance payments, including UAH 1.4 billion for sick leave.
In February, PFU provided services to almost 900,000 people who applied for various issues.
Earlier it was reported that pensions will be raised this year. Already in March, the government will index pensions by 20%.
