Fury may not be in the ring again
Shane Fury said that the WBC belt holder remains in the professionals only for the fight for the title of absolute champion.
Tyson Fury may soon end his professional boxing career. This was announced by the brother of the holder of the WBC belt Shane Fury.
According to him, the British boxer remains in the sport only for the sake of a duel for the title of absolute world champion. And if he does not happen, he will simply leave boxing.
“It all depends on what condition Tyson is in. At the moment, Tyson is thinking about whether to have this fight (with Usyk) or retire, and that’s it. So they either do the fight, or everything will be the way We’re not thinking about Joshua or anyone else,” Shane told IFL TV.
The unification fight between Usyk and Fury can take place in the spring, namely on April 29. Negotiations are underway.
Earlier, the British promoter Frank Warren said that the parties so far have not been able to agree on the terms of the contract for the fight.
