President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against 164 individuals and 85 legal entities from the Russian Federation for supporting a full-scale Russian invasion of the country, approving the relevant decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
As follows from the decree posted on the website of the office of the President of Ukraine, for a period of ten years, sanctions were imposed against the companies associated with Prigozhin Concord M, Concord Management and Consulting, Food Plant, Federal News Agency and PMC Wagner Center. . The businessman in them is the CEO or founder.
The family of Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin also fell under the restrictions – the businessman’s two daughters, Veronika and Polina, Ekaterina Prigozhina and another head of Wagner PMC Dmitry Utkin are also on the sanctions list.
Among individuals, athletes Elena Isinbayeva and Alexander Popov, President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev and Honorary President of the Russian Olympic Committee Vitaly Smirnov fell under the sanctions.
“I signed three decrees to implement the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council. Against those Russians who are involved in the abduction of Ukrainian children,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening address. “Against those representatives of the Russian sports sector who are trying to put sport at the service of aggression. And against those who who helps keep mercenary structures in Russia for the war against Ukraine and all free people.”
The movement “People’s Front “For Russia”, the “Gulfstream” charity fund, the organization of the Red Cross in Russia, the youth organization “All-Russian Student Rescue Corps” and the organization “House for Mom” also fell under the restrictions.
Restrictive measures are introduced for a period of 10 years.
