New flagship crossover Kia EV9
The official premiere of the new Kia EV9 will take place in March. The approximate price will be from 56 to 73 thousand dollars, depending on the configuration.
The Korean company Kia showed the new flagship crossover EV9 on video. The official presentation of the production model will take place this month, according to the publication Ukraine behind the wheel.
The large electric crossover Kia EV9 is called one of the most daring projects of the Korean brand. Its development was carried out for more than 3.5 years. So the crossover can be considered one of the most anticipated models of the brand.
The new flagship with a length of about five meters is designed on an elongated E-GMP platform, created specifically for electric cars of the Hyundai-Kia concern.
Compared to the 2021 show car, the design of the production crossover, with the exception of small details, has not changed much. The electric car received vertical headlights and L-shaped daytime running lights, taillights are the same as the concept. But external video cameras were abandoned in favor of traditional mirrors.
The interior of the three-row SUV has not yet been declassified, but it is to be expected that the model will have a virtual dashboard and a huge touch screen multimedia system – perhaps, as it is now fashionable, in one block.
According to preliminary data, the basic version of the 7-seater electric car will receive a 200-horsepower unit with a power reserve of 350 kilometers. The top-end variant with 400 horsepower will be able to drive about 420 kilometers without recharging the battery and accelerate to hundreds in just 5.2 seconds.
