In the Rivne region, doctors performed an operation on a baby who swallowed pine bark. The bark is stuck in the child’s bronchi. This was reported in the Rivne Regional Children’s Hospital.
It is reported that an 8-month-old baby from the Sarny region was crawling on the floor and picked up a piece of pine bark. The child swallowed the find, and the bark got stuck in the bronchi.
The infant was urgently hospitalized and had a bronchoscopy under general anesthesia. The child is already at home under the supervision of parents.
Doctors urge parents to urgently call an ambulance in case of danger to children.
